Project Duration – 7 weeks

This was a former Co-op site located in Yardley Wood Birmingham. Before any work commenced on site the client carried out a pre-construction and demolition asbestos survey of the building. Once we were happy and satisfied with the information we start our removal work, we stripped the building back to its structure and it has had various fit outs and alterations over the years. Once this was completed, we could start with out install works.

  • Flooring – Installation of ceramic floor tiles to main retail space and vinyl to back of house and staff area. The existing floor required a lot of preparation, levelling and grinding to make the surface flat.
  • Installation of new metal stud back wall and office staff area, suspended ceiling, fire barriers, tap and Jointing.
  • Electrical Installation – Power and lighting, containment systems, fire alarm system, mechanical services, ventilation.
  • Painting – External railing, barrier roller shutter, shop frontage, walls and woodwork to back of house and staff area
  • Mechanical – Isolate, purge and removal of old gas pipework. Removal of old hot, cold and drainage to old staff area. Installation of new hot, cold, and drainage system to new staff facilities and cleaners sink requirements
  • Shutter repairs – repair to exiting shutters
  • General clean and tidy all external area
  • Installation of security fencing
  • Roof- Repair to metal clad roof and clean gullies
